in network

Last night at Trinity, we had Rev David Mulango, from in network, principal of ZACTS Institute - Zambian Agriculture Crafts (trades such as carpentry or home economics) Theological Studies.
How's that for an interesting, but practical concept!

ZACTS trains young Christians with an emphasis on evangelism and discipleship, which results in church planting. Most ZACTS graduates enter the field with the skills needed to be self-reliant tentmakers. Again a radical, but practical idea.

One of their church planting target areas is a refugee camp with over 800,000 people in it [that's down from 1 million+].

It makes sense - Paul was very right in having a job that provides financial freedom to do the real work of God and kingdom building. I think too many pastors are bullied and controlled by boards to the extent they are doing other people's bidding other than Gods!
