Prayer Summit

Last week 11 of us spent the better part of 4 days together @ the KW [Kitchener-Waterloo] City Watch prayer summit @ Fairhavens Bible Campground, near Beaverton.
We left Monday AM @ 8:00am, arrived in time for lunch, and then started to get to know one another, we broke for supper and met back again to share around the Table of the Lord and pray some more.
Tuesday & Wednesday we began with breafast together @ 8:00am and usually didn't end until after the Table of the Lord, finishing the day sometime between 10:30 and 11:00pm.
We were / are a multi-denominational group, different size churches / ministries, different length of time in KW, but all that was clearly secondary to a love for our Lord and a passion to see KW be impacted by the love and grace of God, to see God's kingdom come in this place.
It's hard to put into words what transpired on those days, but I believe more happened than we are aware of. One of the pastors who has been in KW for many years, said, "we went far beyond where we have been before." We're trusting that these relationships will grow, that our churches will see themselves as part of the church in KW and that God's Kingdom will come and touch KW in powerful, life-changing, life-giving ways.
