church planting

I had lunch earlier this week with one of our regional ministers in the emcc. We talked about a lot of things in ministry: how to equip leaders, expanding small groups, transistioning churches to an intentional missional focus and church planting. That last one scares me. I see the need for it. I want to support church planters. I know we need more church planters. I believe that the best way to establish intentionally missional churches is to start from a new beginning. I don't sense that I should be actively pursueing this right now... but I need to be available if that is what God is asking of me.
