colour blindness

My friend Steve, who died of lung cancer several years ago was colour blind. Here's a set of images to check whether you are colour blind.

Despite his colour blindness, Steve managed to paint houses during his university days - he just never selected colours!.

One summer we had driven to Ottawa to be part of the Canadian Track & Field Championship This was back in the mid 70's. Steve was competing in the Shot Put and I was part of the 4x400m relay team.

Steve had never been out of Ontario, so we drove over the bridge to Hull, Quebec. In Hull, the traffic lights were horizontal! Immediately creating confusion and a mild panic in Steve!
