We were at kcf - koinonia christian fellowship this AM.
One of the things that they are known for is their hillsong influenced worship: energetic, loud.
It was really weird for me. I woke up with my "stuffed" ears. Everything was muted. It blocked out so much. I could hear my friend Steve preach, but the worship team sounded like everything was put through a filter which removed the highs, the lows and the volume. My family said the volume was fine but it sounded so "lame" for me.
I wonder how much of the time we actually do have filters in our ears that blocks or mutes what others are saying and what God is saying. When we got home, Janice put some oil in my ear to try and loosen any wax build up. We need people in our lives who can minister oil in our lives to help clear up our hearing.

my wife accuses me of 'selective hearing' as well.
God has given you a great help maid in Janice...and yes we can never oil enough in the Spirit.

Wow, I just checked out the website. You can definitely see the hillsong influence.
As for your ears, try a couple drops of Hydrogen peroxide. You'll be rocking in no time.
