Today - April 8 is Larry's birthday. No, not Larry the cucumber... Lary the Godfather of Christian Rock. Can you believe it - he is 60 today!
In honour of his birthday, a special concert is being held.
"Tonight we're going to party like it's 1947!!"Ticket info is here. It would be wonderful to be there. Larry has been such an influence in Christian music... even if so many wrote him off.
On April 20th we will be observing his 60th birthday with the two performance recitals and on the following day we will be celebrating his life by giving Larry an Anniversary Dinner and Birthday Party.
For the FIRST RECITAL PERFORMANCE, Larry will singing the entire "ONLY VISITING THIS PLANET" album, the first half of "SO LONG AGO THE GARDEN" and the first half of "IN ANOTHER LAND".
For the SECOND RECITAL PERFORMANCE, Larry will sing the LAST HALF of "IN ANOTHER LAND" and the LAST HALF of "SO LONG AGO THE GARDEN" and songs from "SOMETHING NEW UNDER THE SON" plus a few "PLANET" songs

I wish we'd all been ready to attend such an event.
Then again, likely only the rich can afford to go. Why are the rich more equal than others anyway?
