I saw Rocky Baboa last night... this is Rocky 6... and it was surprisingly good. Probably the best Rocky since the original.
And whatever you think of the film... you have to admit that "Gonna Fly Now" is a great piece of inspiring, get out there and face the world, music. As a little bit of trivia... Rocky Baboa is the only Rocky that plays "Gonna Fly Now" under the credits.
Stallone does a great job of acting, and he has written a decent script. In addition, he directs the film. I think what I liked about this film is it is not about boxing, it is a reminder to all of us to live life to the fullest, to get up when we are knocked down, and to do so with an attitude that we don’t care what others think.
No, it's not the best film out there. And I am tired of all the attempts to make "christian" tie-ins to film. But this is a decent, worth watching film.
