  • Canada is producing a supercar: the Locus Plethore. Locus says it's nearly ready to take its first orders. The Plethore will come in 750-hp or 1300-hp versions - from an 8.2-liter Chevrolet V8 hooked to a Tremec six-speed manual - with a body of carbon fiber and a central driving position like the McLaren F1. It can fit three people of up to 6'6" in height, which is good news for NHL players and tall individuals who've made their fortune selling pancakes to the logging industry. It'll cost $330,000 Canadian to start, with only 400 set to be produced the first year.
