I won't attempt to document

• the continuing string of human rights abuses that take place in China;
• or, the oppression of Christians and other religious groups;
• or, the political oppression of various people groups;
• or, the atmospheric pollution;
• or, the wild political propoganda;
• or, you get the picture
  

My personal boycot of the oympics is to avoid the opening & closing ceremonies. let's get on with the games
