verily, verily

"Verily, verily", the old phrase, is really "I tell you the truth"

Len Sweet observes:
Circling in my Bible every time Jesus says "I tell you the truth" (NIV)... Almost every page has at least one circle len sweet

I love Frank Viola's parapharse:
the contemporary equivalent is "I kid you not" ... that's what it actually says in the Greek. frank viola

Now 'good' Christians don't doodle in their Bibles!

I recall seeing some that have sucked many coloured highlighters to death...I am not sure what they highlighted...more a drool...I guess His Spirit does move in mysterious ways...but we are always being transformed into His likeness.

Actually - whatever it takes to grow into Him - go for it. (and I kid you not!)
