Christmas movies

So this is the time of year for Christmas movies... then again it would be kind of strange showing them in July.

So there are the old classics:
  • * It's a Wonderful Life
  • # * White Christmas
  • * Scrouge [1961]
  • * Miracle on 34th Street
The best of the new classics: [is that oxymoronic]
  • * Elf
  • The Muppet Christmas Carol
& there are other's that some like & some don't
  • Home Alone
  • # The Santa Clause
  • The Grinch
  • Jingle All the Way
  • The Christmas Shoes
  • Die Hard
  • The Bishop's Wife
  • # National Lampoons Christmas Vacation
  • # Christmas with the Cranks
The best nativity story
  • * Nativity
So what are your must watch [or at least high on the priority list] for this year [the ones marked with a # I've seen this year; the ones with a * are on the list]

wikipedia has an extensive list of Christmas movies

Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol...1962 is an animated feature that my family continues to remember every year with fondness and laughter. Strange but true memories from the "White house". Check it out http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0123179/ here and the song..."I'm all alone in the world was a tearjerker". Still cry when I watch it. :)
