Jerry Garcia

15 years ago today [9 August 1995] guitarist, singer, songerwriter, leader of the Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia, died.

Whatever you think about them, they played a major influence in shaping North American culture in the 1960's and 70's.

Here's a couple of Garcia quotes:
