running and cars rant

I used to think that cyclists had to watch out for cars. They do... but so do runners. 


I run wearing a bright neon orange jacket... you can't miss me with that and long hair. At least I thought you couldn't miss me.


Twice this week, someone pulled into a driveway right in front of me, blocking my path. 


Then today, I was running at the very edge of the road, facing traffic, when a older lady, talking on a cell phone, drifted within easy "bang my fist on her fender" distance. 


Come on people, get off the cell phone, open your eyes, if you can't see me, you shouldn't be driving.
