The biggest news item for this week is the debate in the UN over granting Palestine statehood.
That is unless you live in Orillia.
Tonight (Monday) there is to be a vote in Council to take the 255 West St S,off the list of options for a recreation site.
While I am not sure it is the best site, largely because of clean up costs, to remove it from the list of possible sites (currently there are no other sites on the list!) is poor planning.
