Today, Monday, 18 January is Martin Luther King Day. A day to remember and honour the work of the Baptist minister and peaceful civil rights activist who was assassinated in 1968.
Later this week, Wednesday, 20 January is the inauguration of Joe Biden as the 46th President of the USA.
There are groups calling for (violent) protests leading up Wednesday's inauguration. The cognitive dissonance between MLKDay and the calls for violence is something to behold.
