de-microsofting

I am using less and less of Microsoft. Here's what I'm currently using.

• email: thunderbird 1.5.0.9
• office: openoffice 2.1
• web browser: firefox 2.0.0.1 mostly, and, sometimes opera 9.10
• calender: palm desktop 4.1.4

I'm not sure I'm ready to make the jump to lynix yet, especially on my laptop. But maybe my next desktop will be dual boot at least.
