Davis Bunn has written what I would call a great summer read. It's not an overly complicated story. The story and the characters draw you in and keep things moving. Character development is such that you begin to care about the people and their relationships.
As an aside, you get a good description (if simplified) of film making and a glimpse into the world behind the shows and movies that I’ve seen.
If you are looking for an interesting but not overly demanding story - a good book to relax with - this is worth a read.
