We are feeling very blessed.
Our house in Orillia has sold. We have bought a 7th floor condo in Guelph.
We are feeling very thankful for all who have reached out to us with kind words and who have prayed for us during this journey.
We are feeling a little overwhelmed… a zillion things to do: people to see; addresses to change; appointments to make; and stuff to sell, give away, pack.
We are feeling sad. This has been our home for almost 18 years. We have loved our home, our OCC church family, and the city of Orillia.
We are feeling uncertain. This is new. Moving to a new city, a new environment. Janice has lived in an apartment before; I lived in one for one year during university. The building we are moving to seems very friendly – every time we have gone to look at a unit, people have greeted us. This is all new for us. Our other moves… we were moving to a built-in community - we were moving to pastor a church. This is different.
We are looking forward. We don’t know what lies ahead for ministry, and service, and building community. But we are trusting our Lord for fresh opportunities.
Thank you for being part of our family, and friends, and neighbourhood, and city over these last almost 2 decades. We will miss seeing all of you in person on a regular basis. We will still be on-line and Guelph is not that far away and is a nice area to visit. Give us a couple of weeks to settle in before you come down!
