The commentator must be a shaver or bald. By the way, why do North American's believe Jesus had sort of a 'Damon' look? It is funny of our precepts of what Jesus physically looked liked. Maybe he was tall or short. Who knows puggy and balding. Maybe he looked Scandinavian...afterall the pictures of Jesus always have blue eyes. What if He had green ones? I wonder if He had highlights in his hair. Perhaps Jesus had a 'fro'
Now for the beard, we always believe Jesus had a beard. Why? Maybe he had a moustache? Maybe he shaved or had Martha shave him?
The other question I have is why do we not critique beards? I mean there must be bad beards. I like Mike's. . . if it were longer and stringer...I could taunt him about being 'Mike-Bin-Bells' ~8) (love ya bros!) Mischevious Rogue ROG (no beard and longer haired)

i suspect he did NOT look scandinavian. i suspect he DID look middle eastern - even arabic (which really throws many north american wasps for a loop)
as for the beard - all godly men have a beard!!! - even if some of don't have great beards

I have had beards and I am simply not a beard guy - wish I could. Sloppy eater and all...and they make me look old(er).
