special music

I can't decide on Sonseed from a couple of days ago
or these...

if this is the definition of "christian music" i would be tempted to ban all so-called music!
some stuff is so bad it is good... this stuff is just plain dumb

ok so this is cheesy and obviously from the 80's/early 90's but why are you so critical of them. maybe it isn't your style but maybe the music you enjoy isn't theirs either. I'm sure they believed they were ministering to their audience at the time. who are you to take that away from them or judge them for it just because you don't like it. what makes one ministry style better than another?

Mike,

I have waited my whole life for this. Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you.

It's too bad there's a 2007 copyright attached or else I'd be featuring some local talent doing this ditty next Sunday morning.

Amazing!

In answer to anonymous. What makes one ministry style better than the other? I would think one that's effective would be better than one that's not.

Then again that was effective at making me cringe! Unbelievable that it was copyrightt 2007. Here's hoping it just took them years to copyright it.

...and so scott, are you the authority on deciding what is effective and what is not? it may not be an effective way of ministering to you or me, but you never know who this could have helped or spoke to in some way.

No I have very little authority, but I do have an opinion and my opinion is that this is of limited effectiveness in today's world.

The good news is that's its no longer available on Youtube!
