baseball season

The NHL season lasts for 82 games to eliminate a handful of teams.
The MLB season has 162 games & eliminates all but a handful of teams.
This is that time of year when the 2 seasons overlap.
A time for great baseball and lousy hockey [well if you are a Leaf fun, you get that all seaon long :-)]
I think hockey should follow the same process as EPL football - the worst teams get sent down to a lesser league.
