occupy movement

Does anyone else think that the occupy movement has lost it's way?

It seems to me, in the Canadian context at least, occupy has become more about the legal battle over setting up tents and illegal public camping than it does about the original focus of the movement.
If occupy needs tents to make it's statement, it seems to me that it isn't making much of a statement.

What do you think?

I don't know what the "statement" is either.

If it is about wealth disproportion, then perhaps they should start by getting real jobs that pay money. Last I knew, protesting is unpaid volunteer work.

Perhaps if they re-branded to: "Occupy Public Space and Be a Nuisance", then it would be more fitting.
