Dave Walker @ Cartoon Church points to this link of clerical hats. Does anyone know the history of how something like this got started? It looks to me as crazy as the history of wearing ties!
The only "religious" hat I have worn is a yarmalke at a couple of Bar Mitzvah's where I helped with the photography and when I wrote my first Hebrew exam at Seminary - all the guys wore yarmalke's - we needed all the help we could get!
