this land is your land

We are in the week that includes July 1 - celebrating Canada and July 4 - celebrating USA.
Both of our nations have lots to celebrate, and lots to repent of.

I will always remember being at a conference where the focus was on the Church in Canada and after singing O Canada, our first speaker, from a first nations community in Western Canada, stood up and said: "I always thought that song said "Your home on native land."
