I know why they call it March Madness... you don't get enough sleep.
We are half way through the 1st weekend, and already some great games
#1 UConn given a scare by #16 Albany - that would have been the biggest upset ever.
#12 Texas A&M beating #3 Syracuse.
#14 Northwestern eliminating another #3 team - Iowa.
#3 Gonzaga (you have to love a team with a name like that) hanging on against #14 Xavier.
#6 Michigan State beaten by #11 George Mason
#4 Boston College needing double OT to get by #13 Pacific.
Iinterestingly the Canadian University Men's Basketball Championships are taking place this weekend as well - and we hear next to nothing about them - here's the university sports site.
The big upset is #7 Cape Breton beating #2 UBC 80-62 in a quarter final game.
