I had a post earlier this week entitled: rich. Since then I have come acrossJulie Clawson's post on people trying to make a difference. She highlights:

• green LA girl who tries to be environmentally friendly in LA.
  
• live plastic free about a Vancouver woman's attempt to live plastic free for a year.
  
• change everything the site for people in Vancouver, Victoria and the Lower Mainland who want to change themselves, their communities or their world.

There are some good ideas on these sites... well worth exploring.
